How do I access support?
Active users of Tracr can access the Tracr support portal to find information and guidance on how to use Tracr.
Can I promote my diamonds on Tracr?
Tracr is primarily a diamond provenance and storytelling platform. Accordingly, participants on Tracr can use the platform to strengthen their claims around authenticity and provenance.
Where can I buy diamonds registered on Tracr?
Tracr aims to be widely available as a source of information for purchasers of natural diamonds and is already working with several major retailers.
Ask your retailers for details of any diamonds they have carrying the Tracr ID.
Can Tracr assure me that my diamond was recovered ethically?
Yes. Tracr will allow you to access a suite of information on your diamond that provides you with the assurance that your diamond has been ethically recovered.
Depending on the source of your diamond, you will be able to establish the region or country of origin.
Additionally, Tracr only works with members of the diamond supply chain who are signed up to ethical compliance standards such as the Kimberley Process.
Why is blockchain important to Tracr?
Blockchain enables Tracr to check diamond data against an immutable database, giving users confidence that their data has not been tampered with.
What information is stored on Tracr?
Tracr records essential information around the source, the weight of the rough diamond, how the rough diamond was manufactured and the finished polished measurements of the diamond.
Tracr is also capable of storing additional information such as videos or images, grading reports and inscription numbers.
How does Tracr work?
Tracr employs several cutting-edge technologies to create a unique tamper-proof digital fingerprint for individual diamonds, allowing them to be traced from source through each stage of manufacture and all the way to end-consumer, recording each step of the process on the way.
